At Dulcie Essie, we’re dedicated to offering luxury skincare products that not only nourish your skin but are environmentally-friendly. All Dulcie Essie products are 100% plant-based. Growing up in New York City, I suffered from dry skin and the cold winters only made it even worse. Moisturizing my skin constantly throughout the day became both time-consuming and exhausting. I knew I had to come up with a solution that was more than skin-deep. After months of research, I realized that the root of my issues started in the shower with products I used to cleanse my body. Most body washes and soaps contain harmful chemicals like parabens, petrochemicals, and sodium laureth sulphate. At that moment, I decided to create my own soap and began experimenting with different ingredients.

After some trial and error, I formulated unique recipes specifically for dry skin. Trying out my first batch, immediately I fell in love and I knew from then, I had the perfect product that will help change lives.

My admiration for both of my paternal and maternal grandmothers named Dulcie and Essie are the reason behind my company's name. Dulcie Essie is my way of giving them their flowers and paying homage to all they have done for me and my family. As the matriarchs, they were nurturing and pure, both elements that are essential to every bar of soap.
